Nahl Camp 2025: A Comprehensive Experience for Shaping Future Leaders

The 4th Nahl Camp 2025 was launched at Sheikh Salem Bin Mahfouz Private Schools in Al-Hajrain, Doan District, with the participation of 77 male and female students from the New Horizon Leaders Program (Nahl), funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development, supervised by HLDYC Foundation, and implemented by Nebras Development Association.

Held over four days, the camp aimed to refine youth skills and enhance their academic and practical capacities through a comprehensive package of activities that combined academic knowledge, hands-on training, and interactive experiences.

Participants gained advanced experience in scientific research by preparing research papers and presenting graduation seminars in a professional manner. They also engaged in mock job interviews, where they practiced CV writing, improved communication skills, and learned workplace etiquette and professionalism—preparing them for future career opportunities.

The camp’s activities also included sessions on critical and creative thinking, addressing contemporary issues such as digital transformation and self-learning. In addition, students received training on utilizing artificial intelligence tools to support scientific research and strengthen self-learning skills, alongside sports, cultural, and team-building activities that boosted collaboration, creativity, and leadership.

An open dialogue session brought together students with representatives from the supporting and supervising institutions to review performance, share feedback, and discuss practical recommendations to enhance future programs—reflecting Nahl’s commitment to building an impactful and engaging learning environment.

Cultural and community aspects were also present. Students took an exploratory trip to Al-Hajrain, discovering its rich history and heritage sites, as well as visiting the local primary healthcare center to learn more about the services provided to the community.

Al-Awn Foundation for Development affirmed that the camp embodies its vision of “focusing on people” through investing in youth, empowering them with essential skills, and preparing them to become effective leaders capable of contributing to society and shaping a brighter future.
